Variations to existing bosses, some new movesets to existing enemies, and several new bosses. The base game alone gave me a few hundred hours to play with before the DLCs added further layers to the builds and new things to test them against. Varies between person and depends on what you're looking for out of the game.įor me, the answer was a clear yes. I'm torn if to buy this game with Seasons pass or without. Originally posted by Erlandir:Hey I wanted to ask is season pass worth it? dose it gives new jobs or just new bosses and difficulty? It’s a bit sadistic that the devs hid the true ending and best content behind high difficulty dlc but it’s what it is. So 100000% worth it to me, and yes it’s insanely difficult but the satisfaction of succeeding and getting the true ending is insane. I consider the game 50% finished when you finish base game. Personally I believe the dlc give the full game experience. Focused on the new gun weapon which basically transforms the game into 3rd person shooter Steal enemy abilities and use them.ĭlc3: gunner, marksman, huntsman gambler. And summoner summons a powerful eikon from dlc 1.ĭlc2: blue mage. Pilgrim is monk like using new weapon called staffs. You need to grind and get gear to be able to deal damage and not get one shotted.įinally yes there are new jobs, though personally I did not use themĭLC 1: pilgrim, evoked, summoner. Just be aware the difficulty gets ramped up like crazy and it’s all about builds. The bosses in the dlc are hard as f and more memorable than any in the base game. Lufenian gives you many more bosses and story content. Gilgamesh dlc 2 gives you a challenging rift level with tons of depth. Very enjoyable if you like final fantasy meta lore. The dlcs give you the truth ending of the game and fate of the main character. It was 1000% worth it to me, and redeemed the game after a lacklustre ending for the base game.ġ.
